خالد پبلک سکول کے تعلیمی سفر کا آغاز ستمبر 1993ء میں ہوا۔ محترم عبدالجبار خالد رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے ایک ایسے تعلیمی ادارے کی بنیاد رکھنے کا عزم کیا جہاں بچوں کو صرف کتابی علم ہی نہ دیا جائے بلکہ ان کی بہترین تربیت، کردار سازی اور شخصیت کی تعمیر بھی کی جائے۔
یہ سفر ایک ننھے سے پودے کی مانند شروع ہوا۔ محترم عبدالجبار خالد رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے خلوص، محنت، عزم اور مسلسل جدوجہد سے اس پودے کی آبیاری کی۔ وقت گزرتا گیا، یہ پودا بڑھتا گیا اور آج، الحمدللہ، ایک تناور اور پھل دار درخت کی صورت اختیار کر چکا ہے۔
اس درخت کی شاخیں ہمارے تعلیمی سفر کی وسعت کی علامت ہیں، جبکہ ان شاخوں پر کھلنے والے خوبصورت پھول ہمارے طلبہ ہیں۔ یہی بچے ہمارا قیمتی سرمایہ، ہماری امید اور پاکستان کا روشن مستقبل ہیں۔
خالد پبلک سکول کا بنیادی تصور ہمیشہ یہ رہا ہے کہ تعلیم اور تربیت ایک دوسرے سے جدا نہیں ہو سکتیں۔ صرف اچھی تعلیمی کارکردگی کافی نہیں؛ ایک بچے کو بااخلاق، باکردار، ذمہ دار، پراعتماد اور معاشرے کے لیے مفید انسان بنانا بھی تعلیم ہی کا بنیادی مقصد ہے۔
محترم عبدالجبار خالد رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کا یہ عزم تھا کہ سکول سے نکلنے والا ہر طالب علم علم کے ساتھ اچھے اخلاق، نظم و ضبط، احترامِ انسانیت، احساسِ ذمہ داری اور اپنے وطن سے محبت کی خوشبو بھی اپنے ساتھ لے کر جائے۔ الحمدللہ، آج بھی خالد پبلک سکول اسی فکر اور اسی مقصد کو آگے بڑھا رہا ہے۔
ہم سمجھتے ہیں کہ ہر بچہ ایک خوبصورت پھول کی مانند ہے۔ تعلیم اسے کھلنے کا موقع دیتی ہے، جبکہ اچھی تربیت اس پھول میں خوشبو پیدا کرتی ہے۔ اسی لیے KPS میں نصابی تعلیم کے ساتھ طلبہ کی اخلاقی، سماجی، ذہنی اور عملی تربیت کو بھی خصوصی اہمیت دی جاتی ہے۔
پھول بغیر خوشبو کے اپنی اصل خوبصورتی کھو دیتا ہے، اور تربیت کے بغیر تعلیم اپنے حقیقی مقصد کو حاصل نہیں کر سکتی۔
خالد پبلک سکول کا مقصد محض امتحانات میں اچھے نمبر حاصل کرنے والے طلبہ تیار کرنا نہیں بلکہ ایسے نوجوان تیار کرنا ہے جو علم، کردار، اعتماد، ذمہ داری، دیانت اور خدمت کے جذبے سے آراستہ ہوں؛ جو اپنے والدین کے لیے باعثِ خوشی، اپنے ادارے کے لیے باعثِ فخر اور پاکستان کے لیے ایک قیمتی سرمایہ ثابت ہوں۔
1993ء میں لگایا گیا یہ ننھا سا پودا آج ایک مضبوط درخت بن چکا ہے، مگر ہمارا سفر ابھی جاری ہے۔ ہم اپنے بانی کے مشن اور وژن کو آگے بڑھاتے ہوئے آنے والی نسلوں کو معیاری تعلیم، بہترین تربیت اور روشن مستقبل فراہم کرنے کے لیے پُرعزم ہیں۔

About Khalid Public School
Khalid Public School, Haroonabad
The educational journey of Khalid Public School began in September 1993. The late Mr. Abdul Jabbar Khalid envisioned an educational institution where children would receive not only academic knowledge, but also strong moral guidance, character development, discipline and personal growth.
The journey began like a small and tender plant. Through sincerity, dedication, determination and continuous effort, the late Mr. Abdul Jabbar Khalid nurtured that plant with great care. Over the years, it continued to grow and, by the grace of Allah, has today developed into a strong and flourishing tree.
The branches of this tree represent the growth of our educational mission, while the flowers blooming on those branches are our students. They are our most valuable asset, our hope and the bright future of Pakistan.
From the very beginning, Khalid Public School has believed that education and character building must go hand in hand. Academic achievement alone is not enough. True education should also help a child become respectful, responsible, confident, disciplined and useful to society.
It was the vision of the late Mr. Abdul Jabbar Khalid that every student leaving KPS should carry not only knowledge, but also the values of good character, respect for others, responsibility, honesty, discipline and love for the country. Alhamdulillah, Khalid Public School continues to carry this vision forward today.
We believe that every child is like a beautiful flower. Education helps that flower bloom, while good upbringing and character give it fragrance. For this reason, KPS places great emphasis not only on academic learning but also on the moral, social, intellectual and practical development of every student.
A flower without fragrance loses much of its beauty; likewise, education without character and proper training cannot fulfil its true purpose.
Our mission is not merely to produce students who achieve high marks in examinations. We aim to develop young people who are equipped with knowledge, character, confidence, responsibility, integrity and a spirit of service — individuals who become a source of happiness for their parents, pride for their school and a valuable asset to Pakistan.
The small plant that was planted in 1993 has grown into a strong tree, but our journey continues. By carrying forward the mission and vision of our founder, we remain committed to providing future generations with quality education, excellent character development and opportunities for a brighter future.
